Redlands Recover Max

Recovermax is a highly concentrated blend of amino acids designed to help reduce the acidity of enzymes
associated with muscle damage. Formulated to help maximise post race recovery and replenish protein stores used up during strenous exercise. Recovermax works at the cellular level in order to help prevent falling into a catabolic state in times of strenuous exercise.

Reduces Lactic Acid Build-up

Recover MAX is a branched chain amino acid formula designed to aid in:

• Maintaining longer speed by reduction in lactic acid build up.

• Reduces muscle breakdown, improving recovery from muscle loss due to exertion or conditions leading to muscle loss.

Reducing Muscle Damage

BCAA supplementation has been shown to reduce the serum activities of intramuscular enzymes associated with muscle damage.

Intake of BCAAs can help contribute to enhancing exercise performance by exerting its influence on fatigue, muscle damaging substances and energy metabolism substances. For muscle tissue, BCAA are the main glutamine and alanine sources: the first is of utmost importance for ammonium neutralization, the second for the induction of glucogenetic pathways in the liver, which is why it is imperative that BCAA levels are always topped up.

Recovery

BCAA Complex is formulated with additional glutamine to maximise recovery times post exercise. After strenuous exercise the pool of muscle glutamines is depleted. Providing the horse with additional glutamine immediately post exercise may be particularly effective in promoting absorption of key components vital for muscle recovery.

Feed Rate
30g mixed into feed before and/or after strenuous exercise, or as directed by a veterinary professional.
